$8.25/hr

But it's worth it for the fun (yes, I actually think a holiday retail job will be fun) and, of course, the 40% discount. Orientation will be Sunday or Monday.

I'm considering the following:

And don't even get me started on the options here, here or here.

Ok, so what's the real deal here? Are you going to get fired if you suddenly start buying hundreds of dollars worth of stuff (thanks to all of your friends placing "orders" through you)? Because I really wasn't kidding when I said I'd started a shopping list.

And how long will your job last? Do you have any idea yet how many hours you'll have per week? I also have to say, thank the good Lord that they did hire you. Because if they hadn't they'd be bloody fools and I'd have to stop shopping there.

Congratulations on getting the job...how could they not hire you? Let us know when you work...Raja and I will come visit you!

I'm not sure how they monitor the amount that employees buy. I assume I'll find that out at my orientation in a few days. I expect also, that I can place orders online, though I imagine they track it somehow...

My ex S worked at Restoration Hardware one holiday just so he could furnish his apartment (and his parents' & sisters' houses) and those were really big ticket items, so not sure.

M-do you happen to know from when A worked at PB?

(All these initials; so covert.)

I don't know that they have a monitoring system in place per se...but its of course "wrong" so you don't want to do anything suspicious that's gonna get you fired. They also charge a "surcharge" for catalog items and so they end up not being that great of a deal.
