Back to Work Day

The vacation had to come to an end sooner or later, though it always seems to come 'sooner' rather than 'later'. It was back to work for me yesterday, while Anne spent the day lounging and walking around Old Town Monrovia after we met up for lunch. After eating out so much on the road, it was nice to stay in and cook. A simple pasta dish of homemade marinara, chicken/feta/spinach sausages & brown rice penne, along with steamed green beans, fresh French bread and a decent merlot, was a tasty end to my first day back at work.
