And the re-decorating begins...

I finally picked up some new bed pillows last night. (The color isn't completely accurate here; they are a little cooler in tone than the photo suggests.)
New Bed Pillows
For down-pillow inserts and quality covers, they were a bargain at $16 from Home Goods. (I'm going to miss Home Goods! While I can't stand riffling through clothes and such at Marshalls or Ross, I'm content to sort out the good from the bad at H.G.)

Now...what paint color goes well with these pillows, white shirred bed cover & pillows, and in a small room directly off the kitchen?

Ohhh cool pillows!! Um you know me, very subdued so I'm thinking a nice taupe? :)

You could do any color on the walls with these. I would avoid yellow though for fear of looking like you tried to match and didn't make it. I'm a big fan of blue-grays. Depends on how much light you get in the room.

Because of the neutral palette of the bedspread and pillows, I personally, would do something bolder by throwing in a raspberry pillow or two.

I actually think that the color of the pillows makes picking a paint color tricky...but depending on whether you want to keep it all neutrals or not....

Neutral paint suggestions: Antique Buttercream? Possibly blue-grey

Funkier choices: the faintest shades of pink or lavender.

My 2 cents: go ultra feminine and funky for this boudoir.

I'm with both Liz and B--my first thought was a pale steel gray, not too cool. Something with warmth. And then do something unexpected like B suggested and add some really bold accents in a purple/fuschia/raspberry.

Blue. Always go with blue. And maybe a fern green accent wall? Oh, wait, that's my bedroom.
