Apple-y Goodness

For as long as I can remember I've disliked eating apples. Well, perhaps I should rephrase that and say that I dislike biting in a whole apple. (Am I the only one whose gums are sore and irritated after doing so?) I do, however, love eating apple slices or even halves or quarters. Mmmmm!

But of all the apple varieties in the world, I do believe that Fujis are my favorite.

Crisp, sweet, and juicy.

There is not a thing I dislike about them. (I just had one with a TJ's Light String Cheese stick; the perfect trying-to-be-healthy- to-make-up-for- the-pint-of-light-Haagen-Dazs-Caramel-Cone-ice cream- that-was-my- lunch-and-dinner-yesterday snack.)

But back to the Fujis...Do you disagree?

I'm with you! Fujis are quite wonderful and almost never disappoint, regardless of the time of year. They are the perfect combo of sweet with just a hint of that tartness that I like in an apple.

I love Fujis, too, but I also enjoy a good Gala or Braeburn.

The ear doctor prefers Pink Lady or honeycrisp.

I only have to time to respond on one comment section - so apples it is! (and yes, we buy these at the rate of 40 per trip - I have 4 boys who eat them daily!)

CONGRATULATIONS on your official student status in Chicago! I know Ging will miss you but what exciting tales you will have to tell AND I am sure you will have loads of visitors who suddenly realize they have ALWAYS wanted to visit the windy city! ;o)

Love the blog as always - I prefer the pineapple rug and the Getty Villa is Dennis' favorite museum in Ca.

Fugi's are the bomb. Deb introduced me to spreading a Tbsp. of peanut butter. Fantastic combo.
