My friend Jodi (originally from the mid-west) wrote this in a recent email about all the fun I'm going to have in Chicago:
"And giiiirrrrlllll, the midwestern men! They actually aren't afraid to ask you out! And they pay! And we grow them tall and strong!"
Although midwestern men was not on my list of "Pros" when it came to choosing Chicago, I think this will be a very nice side benefit, no?

Having been here for a couple of years, I mostly agree with this. They have fabulous manners and they are tall and strong and lovely.
I have met many of them. I have also met their girlfriends/fiances/wives shortly after...
Either that, or I keep meeting the ones who are chicken.
Oh, but remember how many cute boys we saw on our visit there? Many, many! That's got to be a "pro".
totally a PRO! midwestern boys are cute ... blond and tall. what is better than that?!? plus, i think they might be smarter ... not as smart as east coast boys but def smarter than so cal boys. is that so un-pc to say?
I personally like Southern boys - with their Polo shirts, Rainbow sandals and drawls. Maybe you could find someone in between...
