Treasure Hunting

Some people look for finds at flea markets, antique shops or "quaint little boutiques" on some random street in a backwater town. My friends & I, however, we aren't too proud to shop at Home Goods. Here are some of our finds you may want to consider for your home.

The sunflower wicker chair can be yours for just $299.99.
Although you may be thinking it's all just crap, rest assured most of the decor items in my place that get the most comments are from Home Goods! Just come prepared to look around and see past the hideous sunflower chairs and straw lions (although I actually think he's kind of cool; in a kids room maybe?).

The lion would be great in a kid's room! And I confess to also thinking he was sorta cute when we saw him there on the shelf. But there is no forgiving that sunflower chair.

C'mon Kelly, you could keep the sunflower chair on your front porch. So welcoming.

I just can't get over the $300 price tag.

Yeah, I think that may be what stunned us most, the audacity to charge $300 for something so...unique.

Oh darn, I don't have a front porch to put it on, otherwise I may have had to seriously consider it. ;-P

Still, that chair is just one step away from...how shall I put it? Well, let's just say that it would be our generation's version of the 'ducks and cows' country style so popular with our parents.
