Nobody walks in LA

Which means that everyone drives. And I think that without exaggeration, every single Angelean was out driving on Saturday.

The goal: a mini-shopping expedition with Denise down to what we believe is likely a very cool store with Danish furniture, housewares and such on Melrose

The reality: nearly 5 hours on LA freeways without ever reaching our destination, with only York chocolate covered mints to sustain us on our ill-fated journey.

But here are a couple things did see...

At least D & I got a chance to catch up. We kept each other sane.

This is why I love Chicago (or just one of the many reasons). EVERYbody walks in Chicago!! It's partly because if you drive somewhere, you most likely won't be able to park your car for under $20 an hour. However, it's also because the people that DO drive in Chicago drive like crazy's so it's much safer on the sidewalk. :)
You should probably come and experience it for yourself for a couple of days. :)

I still cannot believe we did that. It made for quite a story later that night, though, when Matt and I were out with Barbara and Jon.... Is anyone brave enough to actually look up www.bigtittycrew.com?

Funny you should mention daring to look D...I braved it and a message popped up asking for permission to install a program. With such a sketchy website name I declined, so I may not have gotten the full 'big titty crew' experience. But what was there was the sound of dirt bikes racing with a picture of the 'Big Titty Crew Soccer Team' and links to watch videos, buy clothing (with the Big Titty Crew name & logo, of course! Wear it with pride!), etc.

So yeah, still don't know exactly what that's all about but I'm guessing it's some really classy dirt bike riders and their sand crabs, I mean girlfriends (with crabs, perhaps?), who bond over tales of big titties...Classy.

I drove by that grafitti ridden truck every day while I lived in Glendale on my way too and from work!

It was actually pretty cool looking.

My parents said that the traffic was crazy that day. They were trying to get out to Bonny's. Weird.
