(Also, bloated and chubbier than ever thanks to B's daily feasts.)

1:00 AM--Fell asleep.

8:00 AM--Woke to the alarm (evil!), groaned, complained, whined....

8:30 AM--Actually got out of bed.

9:30-11:30 AM--Chamber group rehearsal.

12:30 PM--Tried to take a quick nap but couldn't because I was too stressed about...

12:30-2:30 PM--...finishing the shawl I was making for my friend Suzanne's birthday present.

2:30-3:00 PM--Frantically got dressed and made up.

3:00-4:00 PM--On the road, travelling to the birthday party in Ladera Ranch.

4:00-7:00 PM--Party. Suzanne was lovely, her husband charming and kind. But Orange County-esque small talk with fellow guests was...mind numbing. You can store the mixture in the fridge for weeks or freeze in ice-cube trays and dump into ziplocks for use later.

Sounds so simple that it's hard to convey how AMAZING Pistou is on potatoes, fish, chicken, pasta, bread--ANYTHING you would otherwise do with pesto. But much lighter and fresher tasting.bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12407790693217946752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22096552.post-15582697891701552392008-09-07T09:08:00.000-05:002008-09-07T09:08:00.000-05:00Did Brandi say "shag?!" :)Did Brandi say "shag?!" :)Molly W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03244247991827544902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22096552.post-70191439175817266232008-09-07T08:55:00.000-05:002008-09-07T08:55:00.000-05:00Today, i mean yesterday we drove to Gettysburg. By the time we had finished, tropical storm Hanna was hitting us pretty good, but we kept on for Gettysburg. It is an amazing place. There are hundreds of monuments all over the fields. Then we drove back to where I am staying now, my cousin and I grabbed a pizza and video game, and talked for the rest of the night.Jeremyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03693941056039723825noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22096552.post-72696051673291512042008-09-06T21:59:00.000-05:002008-09-06T21:59:00.000-05:00Sounds like a marvelous day Kell! Our day went like...Sounds like a marvelous day Kell!

Our day went like this:

-Biked to Farmer's Market--had the best Cinnamon Latté ever & a cream top biscuit smothered with savory sausage gravy. (Courtesy of Pine State Biscuit booth there.) Mike had a biscuit with butter & honey; Audrey biscuit with whipped cream and berries.
Purchased: Sweet Dream Peaches (for what will probably be the last of my summer peach & lavender marmelade) and orange cherry tomatoes (also for marmalade.) Chatted with Jim (a very old, wise farmer) about what to plant for Winter.

2.) Parted ways with M&A to shop for much-needed foundation & powder. (Went with something entirely new!)

3.) Looked lustfully at Banana Republic clothing and, promptly remembering budget, exited without buying anything but...

4.) Rode bike to Rite-Aid for cheap eyeliner and something to freshen up my hair color after Denise's recent hair-success in my neighborhood salon & remembering my resolve to lower my hair costs by sticking with a more natural look (as opposed to high-maintenance highlights.)

5.) Decided that I was too tired to bike home; threw my wheels on the bus and exited at Tolman & Milwaukee.

6.) Hung out the rest of the day in my yard with hubbie & A: throwing around the Strawberry Shortcake football, mini soccer ball, Hoola-Hooping and...sorely needed weeding.

7.) Bathe child and self--put child to bed.

8.) Shag.

9.) Comment on Kelly's blog.

10.) Now going to eat baked mac-n-cheese & chicken that's in the oven, while watching 'The Lives of Others.'

The end- There you have it. Since I'm not currently writing on my own blog....
God nat og sov godt!bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12407790693217946752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22096552.post-67981334311162096262008-09-06T17:31:00.000-05:002008-09-06T17:31:00.000-05:00Well B was running, I don't know that I could say ...Well B was running, I don't know that I could say what I was doing was running. :)Molly W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03244247991827544902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22096552.post-34496860802353122692008-09-06T16:26:00.000-05:002008-09-06T16:26:00.000-05:00Mols. Well, my day is almost over and the fam and I took the bus to the city of Adare and spent the day snapping pics of B and thatched roof cottages, running thru a lovely green park and eating yummy food. Its all very Ireland. :)Molly W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03244247991827544902noreply@blogger.com
